I am Janet, an independent celebrant and I specialise in creating and leading beautiful naming and funeral ceremonies to celebrate the beginning and end of life.

  • Bilingual Ceremonies: I can create and lead ceremonies in French and German, add elements in Spanish and Italian, giving extra meaning for families and friends who are not fluent in English.
  • Expert Delivery: Known for delivering ceremonies with appropriate joy, sensitivity, warmth, respect, humour, and charisma, I ensure that your ceremony is both engaging and heartfelt.

With a background in teaching, counselling, and coaching, I bring a wealth of experience in guiding, supporting, and helping people to my work as a celebrant. My approachability and warmth help people feel comfortable with me right away. I am a good listener, and I have a genuine interest in people’s stories, beliefs, values, and what is important to them, which allows me to create their unique and meaningful ceremonies.

Based in Staines-upon-Thames, I work with families in Spelthorne, Surrey, Berkshire and surrounding areas.
